| In the early '50s, Leo Fender walked unannounced into the offices of the Victoria Case Company of Los | |
| Angeles and asked if they could build a case for his new guitar. No one at the luggage manufacturer had any | |
| previous experience building musical instrument cases, but when General Manager Ben Germain reviewed | |
| Fender's design requirements, he quickly concluded, "We can build this." Not long after that fateful meeting, | |
| Fender's revolutionary Telecaster guitar was being shipped with the soon-to be classic tweed covered case lined | |
| with rich red velvet. Nearly six decades later Ben Germain continues to turn out hardshell guitar cases built to | |
| Fender's original specs. The cases, which have been produced under the G&G brand since 1978, are sold | |
| as original equipment for Fender's high-end guitars as well as makers like Paul Reed Smith, Yamaha, | |
| Ernie Ball / Musicman, Schecter Guitars and Rickenbacker just to name a few. | |
| With over 75 years of experience, here at G&G Quality Cases we've come to understand the need for | |
| protection and security of the musical instrument. That's why we build our cases from high-grade | |
| 3.6mm and 9mm plywood that we shape and press ourselves, here in our home factory of Los | |
| Angeles, California. We then send each case through a rigorous inspection for quality control and | |
| approval before completion where we add strength-tested adhesives for a hold that will last | |
| through the harshest conditions, on and off the road. Lastly, every case is covered with a durable | |
| and attractive covering then machine-stitched for binding and equipped with brass and | |
| nickle-plated steel hardware that ensures the safety and security of your instrument while | |
| still managing to look great too. | |
